Nevergreen Farm is owned and operated by the Feigus Family and is the ideal home
for both serious horse show competitors and beginners looking to learn proper riding
technique and horsemanship in a friendly, supportive environment.

The lesson program is in full swing at Nevergreen Farm with both private and group
lessons available throughout the week. Barbara Feigus offers quality instruction to
junior and adult riders at all levels. With over 30 years of experience in training and
developing riders, she has a proven track record of success in Hunter and Equitation
divisions. In fact, her students have taken top honors not only at the local level, NJPHA,
and NJHSA High Score, but at Zone II Finals, Marshall Sterling Finals, Medal and
Maclay Finals, and Capital Challenge as well.

Although an accomplished trainer for advanced riders, Barbara has a fondness for
beginner riders and those who may be a bit nervous in the saddle.

In addition to the nurturing, supportive environment, Nevergreen Farm has safe, well-
trained lesson horses appropriate for riders at all levels of experience. From beginners
taking walk-trot lessons to those jumping courses and looking to show, the lesson
horses at Nevergreen Farm help riders build confidence and have fun.

Barbara also has seen great success working with green horses. “Many of my best
horses started out green or were thought to have ‘problems’,” says Barbara. “It’s all
about consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement.”

In addition to teaching, Barbara Feigus has earned her USEF “R” judging card. She
currently judges USEF A through C rated horse shows throughout the Tri State area.
Barbara continues expanding her knowledge of judging and training by attending
industry clinics and seminars throughout the Northeast and Florida.

Joining Brad and Barbara at Nevergreen Farm are their children Laura, 25, and Brian,
21, both accomplished horse people. Nevergreen Farm is a family affair that strives to
keep a family atmosphere for everyone who comes through their doors.

Nevergreen Farm is a full service equestrian facility located in Farmingdale, New
