Our Story

About Nevergreen Farm

Nevergreen Farm is a full service equestrian facility located in Farmingdale, New Jersey offering lessons, boarding, horse show services, and equine sales. Owned and operated by the Feigus family, Nevergreen Farm is the ideal home for the serious horse show competitor looking to learn proper riding technique and horsemanship in a friendly, supportive environment.

Located on 46 acres in the Farmingdale/Howell area of NJ, we specialize in Hunters/Equitation with 42 stalls and both indoor/outdoor riding facilities. Our large grass fields provide excellent turnout space for your horse.

Meet Our Trainer

Sophee Steckbeck

Sophee has been part of the Nevergreen family for over 15 years, and after her collegiate career, she returns home as a trainer.

As a junior rider, Sophee earned top ribbons at ASPCA Maclay Finals, USET Finals, Devon and WIHS Equitation Finals. She also helped secure Team Gold and Silver at the 2019 and 2020 Prix de States.

Sophee attended Auburn University where she continued to excel, earning numerous SEC awards and becoming a 3x All American while representing their NCAA Equestrian Team.

Sophee brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm that she is eager to share with our riders and program.
